Yeah, that decribes me. As college student with a child I'm always trying to find great deals and make it even better by using coupons. I've found that the internet is an valuable tool to help me find coupons beyond the Sunday paper. I came accross this great coupon site that actually sorts the Free Coupons for you so you don't have to spend countless hours searching through random coupons. NCNatural.com is definatly a place every savvy shopper should stop by before making that shopping trip, especially now with the holiday right around the corner. They ha ve coupons for the Baby Center online store, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE.  I can always find great deals there for my daughter and adding coupons on top of that.... oh my!  Oh yeah, and who doesn't like Amazon.com.  They have a TON of coupons for Amazon.com.  This site is very simple and user friendly and is updated on a daily basis so you will find all the new deals there right away.  All the stores are listed in alphbetical order so you will never have trouble finding exactly what you are looking for.  Go check them out!

are pooping on my floor! Ok, ok maybe it's partially my fault, but I will NOT take all the blame. I cleen their box at LEAST once a week and they still have the audacity to take a big steaming load on my floor. Now, I wasn't so upset when it was right next to the litter box on the tile floor, it was kind of a "hey woman clean my box!" message, but when they crap on my bedroom floor right next to where I lay my head it becomes personal. I've gotten rid of cats for less so they are hanging by a thread here. I hate going to bed and 'sniff sniff' is that crap I smell. Turn on the lights and sure enough I'm scrubbing cat shit out of the carpet at 2am. Damn cats.

There's one thing I dread about the holidays and that's shopqping for a guy. They are the hardest peopple to shop for, seriously, I've broken up with guys because of this fact. No joke. Same goes for my current boyfriend. Every year for his birthday and on Christmas I end up giving him things he never uses and I feel bad. This year I think it will be different, I hope anyways. I've found a great site with gifts for him. He loves this kind of stuff too, concidering he is a mechanic and loves his job. He alqlso loves to do stuff like renovating our house, we constantly have projects. So hopefully he will enjoy his present this year. It's never too early to start thinking about it! And hell, maybe i'll even get some of this stuff for myself lol. Yeah, it's just that cool.

You suck!  That's why I dropped you! HA!  Yeah, I dropped my ochem lab.  It' sucked big donkey balls.  I switched my major to nursing and deqqcided that i'm not going to suffer through (and possibly screw up my awsome GPA) for a class I don't NEED anymore.

This way too I can focus on my other 2 classes, even thought I don't technically need the, either lol.  Next sememster will be so nice, I'll be like a freshman again, except I'll be done with all of my math and science classes.  I beleive I'm taking Engl 201 (advanced comp) soca 101 (intro to soc) and 1 or 2 bio classes.  So I guess I'm not DONE with science classes, but thats ok cuz I love em, especially bio classes.

My bebe is growing up :(  I'm happy and sad at the same time.  Her two bottom teeth are just poking through.  Had to fight her to get a good look at them today.  SO always says he thinks he sees white and I just ignore him b/c according to him she's been "getting" teeth for 5 months now lol.  Anywho, she bit me and it actually hurt so we held her down and took a peek and sure enough her gummy smile will be a thing of the past any day now.  Why do they have to grow up so fast?

sponsored content I just got my blog approved by Pay Per Post and I LOVE IT! I've tried other blogging for cash sites and most of them don't have very many opportunities for someone just starting out, but PPP does. I've been blogging with them for 3 days now and every day there are new opportunities that fit my blog and blogging style, I also get to learn about some great sites that I might not have ever heard about with out Pay Per Post. In only 3 days (and maybe i hour of my time) I've made $26! Not bad for an hours worth of work doing something I love to do anyways huh. If you blog you should definitely check them out. I know I'm loving the extra cash, and as a full time college student and a mother I need to make cash with little effort and little time involved.

Sep. 13th, 2007 @ 08:24 pm Potty training tips: How to help your child feel comfortable with the potty

Something to keep in mind while potty training your child is that every child is different and something that worked perfectly for one may not work at all for another, so use your judgment and the process of trail and error.

First off, acquaint your little one with the potty as early as possible. Even if they are only six months old, they begin to understand what is going on around them and want to do things like the adults and older children in the home. Watching mommy or daddy go potty will spark their curiosity with the weird contraption in the bathroom and hopefully keep a fear of the toilet at bay. Try to get your child going into the bathroom with the same sex parent as much as possible so they can see what they are supposed to do in there.

Once they are old enough to stand up and sit down on their own get them their own potty and let them explore it, maybe even putting it in a family room or the child's bedroom, wherever they spend a lot of time.

After they fully understand what the potty is used for and can follow simple instructions and know the feeling of when they have to go, which usually happens around 2-3 years of age, let them have at it. Personally I believe in the all or nothing technique. Make a huge deal of going to the store with them and picking out their own big girl or big boy underwear. When you get home help them get the underwear on and explain to them that now they have to use the potty and can't go in their underwear anymore. While working out the kinks you should probably use diapers or training pants at night. Sure, there will be accidents, just make sure you always have a clean change of clothes or two with you at all times, but they learn quick and children don't like the feeling wetting themselves.

For all three children I have potty trained, or witnessed being potty trained, they got the hint after the first accident, and wet pants were not a daily occurrence.

You should not use training pants such as pull-ups because this will only teach them to go to the bathroom in something that looks and feels like underwear, which can make potty training harder than it has to be.

After you have the daytime bathroom trips down to a science you can work on the night time.

On a side note, if your child wets himself or the bed long after he or she has been potty trained do not over react, this will only make the problem worse. Situations like these are usually caused by some sort of stress. Stop and try to think about what has been going on in your child's life from their point of view. Have they started school, are you working more than usual, has someone in the family died or moved away, have you moved, divorce, etc. Alway reassure them that accidents happen to everyone and ask them what may be wrong or tell them what you think may be wrong, they are usually quick to tell what's bothering them when asked, and don't make a huge deal about the accident, just reassure them that everything is going to be alright and explain how, if you are able to in your situation.

I can't apply for this, but it's a cool scholarship and hey, what college student couldn't use an extra $500.
Here is more information on the time tracking scholarship, including their press release.

Journyx Announces 2ND Annual Excellence in Project Accounting Philosophy Essay Scholarship

One Student to Receive $500 USD Toward Tuition and Fees

AUSTIN, TEXAS (Sept. 4, 2007) — Journyx – the first company to provide web-based time tracking and project accounting solutions that guide customers to per-person, per-project profitability – today launches the 2008 Excellence in Project Accounting Philosophy essay scholarship. The scholarship is open to full-time graduate and undergraduate college students at a university in the United States. The winning essayist will receive $500 USD toward college tuition and fees.

Interested students should contribute an essay of 1,000 words or less on one of the following two topics:

* Persuade someone who doesn't want to track his time on a per-product per-activity basis why it is in his best interests to do so.
* Describe a real situation that you've encountered where project oriented time tracking has made a positive difference in the world.

Rocco Costa, a student at Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, Calif., was last year's scholarship winner.

"Tracking the time spent on products and activities throughout the workday has many applications, most importantly as a cost-saving instrument for business," says Costa. "If a person can measure productivity within a given period, they not only know how their time is spent, but also whether it is the best "value" for the company. Both businesses and employees gain from this since workers can establish if they are functioning efficiently, and businesses can determine their deadlines, profits and costs on an hourly, daily, and even yearly basis."

Complete rules and details, including how the essays will be scored, where to send the entries, etc. can be found at scholarship.journyx.com. The scholarship program will run until June 1, 2008.

In my earlier post I listed the 4.7 million things I had to do today and it definitly did not happen.  First off, I did not finish my chem pre-lab before class, so after we picked Echo up from day care I couldn't go out to eat I had to go back to school to work on calc.  Yeah, Calc.  I did (well, attempted 2 problems).  I sat ther for the better part of an hour trying to do 2 fricking problems.  I never figured it out.  I just don't get it, I understood it in class, I read ahead, I read afterwards and I understood it, but when it comes time to do the problems.... nothing!  I think I need to make some notecards, just another thing to add to my neverending list.

I guess I can't complain too much, at least I'm out of the house for a while during the week, and I really do enjoy school even if it stresses me out.  Well, back to work and studying....
